Support BAAM

Making a charitable gift to BAAM is both a significant and personal decision. The true reward of giving comes from knowing your contribution directly enhances the lives of community members who benefit from BAAM’s mission.

When you choose to support us, you have the option to direct your gift in a way that best aligns with your intentions. Restricted gifts are utilized according to the specific guidelines set by you, ensuring your support goes towards designated programs or initiatives. On the other hand, unrestricted gifts provide the flexibility for BAAM to allocate funds where they are most needed, enabling us to continue fulfilling our mission and expanding our impact within the local community.

Thank you for considering a gift to BAAM. Your support helps us make a difference every day.

Moton Street Development

In late November 2024 after many years of trying to acquire the Moton Street property, BAAM became the owner of these properties. These 3 condemned apartment complexes will need to be demolished and developed. BAAM will partner with several community agencies and the town of Easton to redevelop this 2-acre property. We plan to provide parking space for the “BAAM Campus” which includes the Academic and Athletic Center. Additionally we plan to partner with CarePacks and Talbot Thrive, two nonprofit organizations that serve the Talbot County community. We will add storage space for BAAM and these two organizations. CarePacks provides food for those in need and Talbot Thrive will be a partner once the Traffic Garden is built and they will provide bikes and helmets for youth and adults who need it. The storage facility will also have a 10-15 student experiential learning classroom that will offer hands on learning experience for those youth and adults who are engaged with BAAM and partners like Chesapeake College in trades programming, such as HVAC, plumbing, construction, etc. The Community Garden and Traffic Garden will be designed to merge with Moton Park and allow easy access for youth and families to enjoy the open space and amenities that Moton Park and BAAM will offer.
